Play Super Awesome World Online

Super Awesome World came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, though I don't recall who made it. It was one of those platformers that felt right at home on the SNES, with bright colors and a focus on quick, precise movement.

You control a little character who runs, jumps, and climbs through a series of themed worlds. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage, but the real draw is how you move. You can dash to break through certain blocks, wall-jump to scale vertical shafts, and grab power-ups that completely change your abilities, like throwing fireballs or temporarily flying. The levels are tightly designed, often demanding quick reflexes and a good memory for hidden alcoves. It feels incredibly responsive and satisfying when you pull off a difficult sequence of jumps.
