Super Locomotive is one of those arcade games that looks simple at first—just guide your train to the next station, right?—but quickly turns into chaos. You’re swerving between other trains, dodging planes (why are there planes?), and praying you don’t miss a track switch. The red signals? They’re not suggestions.

You’ve got a steam-powered bullet to shoot down flying enemies and a shield that lasts about as long as a deep breath. Both drain your energy fast, so you’re constantly eyeing that oil canister on the tracks like it’s the last water bottle in a desert. Mess up, and your train goes from hero to scrap metal real quick.

After each level, there’s a bonus round where you go full-on turret mode, blasting everything in the sky before time runs out. The better you do, the more points you bank—which you’ll need, because the next level doesn’t care that you barely survived the last one. It’s the kind of game where you fail, curse, and immediately hit start again.
