Game Overview
Super Mario 64 DS takes the N64 classic and squeezes it into your pocket—with some neat extras. You’ve still got Peach’s castle to explore, stars to hunt down, and those weirdly satisfying long jumps, but now you can swap between Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi on the fly. Each one handles differently—Luigi’s floaty jumps saved me from so many dumb falls.
The touchscreen mini-games are a fun distraction (rabbit-chasing is weirdly addictive), and the graphics got a little polish for the DS. It’s still the same chaotic, slightly janky 3D platforming that makes you yell at the camera angles—just now you can do it on the bus.
