Super Model is one of those arcade games that somehow makes walking in a straight line feel intense. You play as an up-and-coming model, and the whole thing is basically a rhythm game disguised as a runway show—time your button presses right to nail poses, avoid tripping over your own feet, and dodge paparazzi who keep jumping into your path.

The graphics are surprisingly flashy for an arcade title, with these exaggerated fashion show lights and crowds that actually react when you mess up (nothing like hearing a collective gasp because you faceplanted in front of the judges). My first few tries were disasters—turns out you can’t just button-mash your way to the top—but once the timing clicks, it’s weirdly satisfying to pull off a perfect strut.

It’s not deep, but it’s the kind of game you keep replaying just to beat your high score while pretending you’re some diva supermodel. The fashion challenges get ridiculous in the best way, like one where you have to walk in a giant inflatable dinosaur costume without falling over.
