Play Syndicate Online
Syndicate on Genesis turns corporate warfare into a weirdly cheerful isometric shooter—you’re upgrading cyborg thugs with flamethrowers and brainwashing tech while they blast through robot hordes in bite-sized city blocks.

Syndicate came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed by Bullfrog Productions. It was a time when isometric strategy games were finding their footing on consoles, and this one stood out for its cold, corporate dystopia setting rather than the usual fantasy or sci-fi fare.
You control a squad of four cybernetically enhanced agents from a top-down perspective, directing them through dense, hostile city streets. Your main goal is to complete missions that involve assassination, sabotage, or retrieval, all to expand your corporation's influence. Key mechanics include using the Persuadertron to brainwash civilians into temporary allies, researching new weapons and cybernetic upgrades between missions, and managing your agents' limited health and ammo in real-time combat. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense; you often feel outgunned and need to use cover and crowd control to survive. It feels like walking a tightrope between tactical planning and chaotic violence.
