Play Taito Memorial - Chase H.Q. - Secret Police (Japan) Online

You're weaving through traffic in a tiny GBC screen, ramming suspect cars until they spin out while your pixelated boss shouts Japanese at you—somehow it still feels like the arcade. Those neon streaks blurring past at night make the speed hit harder than it should.

Game Overview

Remember those old arcade cabinets where you'd slam the gas pedal chasing down crooks in a sleek sports car? Chase H.Q. on Game Boy Color somehow squeezes that exact rush into your pocket. The screen's tiny, but you'll still white-knuckle it weaving through traffic—miss one turn and the perp gets away while your boss yells at you in pixelated Japanese.

It's got that classic Taito feel: rubber-burning speed, suspect cars that actually fight back when you ram them, and a timer that's always ticking just a little too fast. The GBC colors pop way more than you'd expect, especially in the night levels with those neon streaks blurring past. Weirdly, I kept getting stuck on the second mission until I realized you gotta sideswipe the target three times, not just once—took me way too long to figure that out.

If you've got a soft spot for Out Run but wished it had more cop drama, this one's a no-brainer. Just don't blame me when you start tilting your hands on sharp turns.
