Remember that old Disney Tarzan game on the N64? This is the one where you swing through vines like an absolute maniac, barely avoiding spikes and snapping crocodiles. The jungle looks surprisingly good for an N64 title—lush greens, waterfalls in the background, that kind of thing. And yeah, the soundtrack slaps (in a late-'90s MIDI sort of way).

First level throws you right into it: you’re running up tree trunks, dodging leopards, and trying not to faceplant into a pit of thorns. The controls take a minute to get used to—Tarzan moves like he’s half-monkey, half-pinball—but once it clicks, swinging branch to branch feels weirdly satisfying. There’s even these weird mini-games where you surf on tree bark or outrun a stampede. Classic N64 jank, but in a fun way.

If you’ve got nostalgia for this era of licensed games, it holds up better than most. Just watch out for the gorilla wrestling sections—button mashing at its finest.
