Game Overview

Man, Turtles in Time is still one of the best beat 'em ups on the SNES. You pick your favorite turtle (I always go with Donatello—his long-range bo staff makes up for being a little slower) and just wreck wave after wave of Foot Clan goons. The animation holds up surprisingly well, especially how the turtles flip and spin when they throw enemies at the screen.

What I love is how chaotic it gets with four players. You're constantly bumping into each other, stealing each other's pizza pickups, and accidentally throwing Foot Soldiers into your buddies. The sewer surfing level still feels wild—you're dodging traffic cones and wrecking dudes while sliding down pipes.

It's not super deep, but that's kind of the point. You just smash buttons, eat pizza, and yell "Cowabunga!" until your hands hurt. Perfect arcade-style fun.
