Play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Japan) on gb Online

Pick your turtle—Raph's quick jabs or Donnie's long reach—and brawl through rooftops and sewers, timing your moves just right against those jump-kicking ninjas. That helicopter boss fight? Pure chaos, but nailing it feels so good.

Game Overview

This one's the second TMNT game on Game Boy—basically a follow-up to Fall of the Foot Clan, but with a few tweaks. You’re still beating up Foot Soldiers and dodging weird sewer hazards, but the levels feel a bit more varied this time. The first stage throws you right into a rooftop brawl, and I remember getting wrecked by those ninjas who jump-kick out of nowhere until I figured out the timing.

It’s got that classic TMNT vibe where each turtle handles differently—Donnie’s bo staff has reach, but Raph’s sais are quicker. The boss fights are where it shines, especially that weird helicopter battle where you’re jumping between platforms like a maniac. Not gonna lie, the controls take some getting used to, but once it clicks, it’s stupidly satisfying to clear a screen of enemies with a well-timed special move.

If you played the first one, this feels like a natural step up—just don’t expect anything revolutionary.
