Game Overview

Ah, The Count—one of those weird little MS-DOS games that somehow sticks with you. You wake up in this creepy castle, no idea how you got there, and the only thing you do know is that something’s hunting you. The screen’s just text, but somehow that makes it worse. Every choice feels like life or death: do you risk opening that creaky door or hide in the wardrobe? And then you hear it—that slow, taunting voice counting down… yeah, no pressure.

It’s all tension and atmosphere, no hand-holding. No fancy cutscenes, just your own pulse racing as you fumble through dark halls. Mess up, and you’ll get a delightfully grim "Game Over" before the Count finishes his sentence. Perfect for when you want a quick hit of old-school horror without the jump scares—just pure, slow-drip dread.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
