Game Overview

So, The Mask on SNES—yeah, it’s exactly as chaotic as the movie. You play as Stanley, this unlucky dude who stumbles on a creepy mask and suddenly turns into this green-faced, hyperactive cartoon version of himself. The first thing you’ll notice? The weapons are ridiculous. One minute you’re blasting cartoon guns, the next you’re spinning into a tornado or honking a giant horn at enemies like some derailed Looney Tunes episode.

The levels are straight out of the film—you start in Stanley’s apartment (which somehow turns into a warzone), then bounce through the city, the bank, even a jailbreak. It’s all bright, loud, and slightly unhinged, just like Jim Carrey’s performance. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out how to chain those absurd attacks together, it’s a blast. Just don’t expect deep storytelling—it’s pure, over-the-top arcade chaos.
