Play The Price is Right Online

I picked up The Price is Right for MS-DOS back in the day, part of the Classic Games series from 1990. It was developed by Softie, Inc., and it fit right in with the other simple, straightforward titles you'd find on the platform. It didn't try to be anything more than a digital version of the TV show, and that was enough for a lot of us.

You play as a contestant, trying to win prizes by guessing their retail prices. The main goal is to make it to the final showcase by outbidding other players, whether they're computer-controlled or human. Key mechanics include spinning the big wheel with careful timing, playing mini-games like Plinko where you drop chips down a pegged board, and making frantic bids during the Showcase Showdown. The pacing is quick, but the difficulty can spike depending on how well you know the value of household items. It feels like a chaotic, low-stakes trip to a game show from your living room.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
