Game Overview

Theme Park (Floppy Version) is one of those classic management sims where you start with a patch of dirt and a dream—or at least a modest budget. You’ll slap down roller coasters, hire mechanics to keep them from exploding (seriously, neglect them and they will), and haggle with entertainers who want a raise. The first park’s in the UK, but if you turn a profit, you can expand to trickier locations—some have awful weather, others have picky guests who won’t settle for just a Ferris wheel.

What I love is how much the little details matter. Forget to hire enough janitors? Paths get littered with trash. Skip security? Suddenly your park’s crawling with thieves. And yeah, the graphics are dated, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching tiny pixelated guests throw up after one too many rides on your poorly designed coaster. Just don’t expect mercy from the higher difficulty settings.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll lose hours tweaking ticket prices and researching new attractions, all while praying your mechanics don’t go on strike. If you’ve ever wanted to run a theme park without the real-world lawsuits, this is your chance.
