Game Overview

Tiger Road is one of those classic arcade beat 'em ups where you play as Lee Wong, a guy who’s basically just trying to save some kidnapped kids from a villain named Ryo Ken Oh. It starts simple—you’re punching and kicking through waves of easy enemies (they go down fast, but there’s always another one right behind them).

The levels scroll sideways, but there’s a bit of vertical movement too—you’ll hop onto ledges or take slightly different paths if you’re paying attention. Magic urns pop up pretty often, giving you better weapons, which is good because later on, things get mean. Once you hit the indoor sections, enemies start hitting back hard, and some can take you out in one shot. Staircases add some vertical chaos, making it feel like a brawl in a cramped dojo.

It’s straightforward but satisfying, especially if you like old-school quarter-munchers where the difficulty spikes when you least expect it.
