Game Overview

Konami released Tiny Toon Adventures for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, a time when licensed platformers were common but quality varied. It was based on the animated series, and it fit right in with the colorful, cartoonish action games of the early SNES library.

You choose between Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, or Furrball, each with a unique movement style; Buster runs and bounces, Plucky can glide poorly after a jump, and Furrball climbs on certain walls. The goal is to rescue your friends from Montana Max by completing side-scrolling stages, collecting carrots, and avoiding anvils, dive-bombing enemies, and other slapstick hazards. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty is manageable but not without some tricky jumps, especially with Plucky's awkward aerial control. It feels like controlling a Saturday morning cartoon, complete with all its silly energy and occasional frustration.
