Game Overview

Oh man, Tiny Toon Adventures on SNES is one of those games that just gets the cartoon’s energy. You pick between Buster, Plucky, or Furrball, and immediately notice how each controls differently—Buster’s got this satisfying mid-air spin, while Plucky’s helicopter jump feels ridiculous in the best way. The first level throws you right into Acme Acres with bouncing mailboxes and those classic anvil traps, and it somehow looks even brighter than the show.

The Japanese Rev A version fixes some of the slowdown from the US release, so everything moves smoother when chaos kicks in (and it always kicks in). Later levels get wild—one minute you’re dodging stampeding pigs, the next you’re racing a minecart while Elmyra tries to hug you to death. It’s tough but fair, and the soundtrack’s full of bouncy tunes that stick in your head. If you ever wanted to yeet a carrot at Montana Max’s smug face, this is your chance.
