Remember that feeling of being a kid, sprawled on the floor in front of the TV with your Super Nintendo? Toy Story on SNES nails that exact vibe—it's one of those rare movie games that doesn't suck. You're Woody, bouncing on bed springs like a cowboy trampoline artist, chucking dice at army men in Andy's room, and barely escaping Sid's nightmare fuel mutant toys. The RC car sections still feel ridiculously fast for a 16-bit game.

What surprised me was how much it actually feels like playing through the movie—not just level after level of generic platforming. You'll ride a skateboard through Pizza Planet dodging traffic cones, solve little toy-sized puzzles (that toolbox boss fight is way cleverer than it has any right to be), and yeah, the music? That Pizza Planet theme lives in my head rent-free.

It's got that perfect SNES difficulty curve too—easy enough to pick up, but some later levels will make you sweat. Just try not to throw your controller when you miss a jump onto Buzz's spaceship for the tenth time. Still holds up way better than most licensed games from that era.
