Trampoline Terror! came out for the Sega Genesis in 1990, developed by DreamWorks. It was one of those early platformers that tried something a little different, focusing on a strange, bouncy mechanic instead of just running and jumping. It didn't get a huge amount of attention at the time, but it definitely had its own unique flavor among the Genesis library.

You control a character whose only tool is a giant trampoline, using it to bounce around single-screen stages to collect bombs before they detonate. The core challenge is managing your bounces; jump too many times in one spot and the trampoline rips, leaving you vulnerable. You also have a limited supply of P-Balls to throw at enemies, which forces you to aim carefully instead of spamming attacks. The pacing is frantic, with the timer and enemy patterns creating a constant sense of pressure. It feels like a tense, precarious balancing act where every jump matters.
