Remember that old Inspector Gadget cartoon? This MS-DOS game throws you right into Penny’s shoes (and Brain’s paws) as you try to stop Dr. Claw from replacing UN members with creepy robot doubles. It’s all point-and-click—you’ll flip between Penny using her book to access gadgets and Brain sneaking around doing the dirty work. The puzzles aren’t exactly brain-melters, but there’s something satisfying about outsmarting Claw’s goons with the exact right gadget combo.

Honestly, it’s pretty basic by today’s standards—lots of walking back and forth between locations, and the missions do get repetitive. But if you grew up with the show, seeing Penny’s book open up or hearing that familiar "Go-Go Gadget!" line still hits right in the nostalgia. Just don’t expect a deep adventure—it’s more like playing through a Saturday morning cartoon episode where you get to poke at everything until something works.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
