Transformers: Decepticons on the DS is exactly what it sounds like—you get to be the bad guys for once. No heroic Autobots here, just smashing through cities as Megatron, Starscream, and the rest of the crew. The controls take a minute to get used to (switching between robot and vehicle modes feels a little clunky at first), but once you get the hang of it, wrecking stuff never gets old.

Missions are a mix of straight-up brawling and sneaky sabotage—sometimes you’re blasting everything in sight, other times you’re quietly taking out power grids before the humans notice. The DS graphics do a surprisingly decent job with the transformations, though don’t expect console-level detail. If you ever wanted to side with the Decepticons just once, this is your chance.
