Play Transformers - Decepticons (sUppLeX) (G) Online

Pick a Decepticon, smash through cities, and switch between robot and vehicle form mid-fight—Starscream’s jet mode makes wrecking Autobots way too satisfying. The DS barely keeps up with all the explosions.

Game Overview

Transformers: Decepticons for the Nintendo DS came out in 2007, published by Activision. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games that tried to capture the blockbuster feel on a handheld, a time when developers were still figuring out how to make 3D action work on the dual screens.

You control a Decepticon like Starscream or Megatron, and your main goal is to tear through human cities and crush the Autobots. The key mechanic is the instant transformation between robot and vehicle form, letting you fly as a jet to reposition or charge through buildings as a tank. Missions involve a lot of straightforward destruction, targeting key structures and fighting waves of enemies, and the pacing is fast but the difficulty can spike unexpectedly during boss fights. It feels chaotic and a little rough, but there's a simple joy in causing that much mayhem on the small screen.
