Game Overview

Ever wanted to be Odysseus, but with more monsters and way worse graphics? Ulysses and the Golden Fleece is that weird little MS-DOS game where you wander around ancient Greece getting into trouble. One minute you're dodging cyclopes, the next you're trying to figure out which god you accidentally offended this time (probably Zeus—it's always Zeus).

The puzzles are just the right kind of frustrating—no tutorials, just you staring at a pixelated altar wondering if sacrificing that goat will help or just make Apollo mad. And yeah, the Golden Fleece is in there somewhere, but half the fun is getting sidetracked by sirens or getting turned into a pig because you clicked the wrong thing.

It’s janky, it’s unfair sometimes, and the graphics look like they were drawn in a hurry, but there’s something weirdly charming about it. Like finding an old book where someone scribbled monsters in the margins.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
