Urban Champion is this weird little NES fighting game where two dudes just decide to throw hands in the middle of the street. You start face-to-face, with nothing but your fists and two manholes waiting on either side—knock the other guy into one and you win. That's pretty much it.

There's something oddly charming about how simple it is. No fancy combos, just left and right punches. Though watch out—sometimes flower pots fall from windows and smack one of you, which feels both unfair and hilarious. And if a cop car rolls by? Both fighters suddenly act all innocent like nothing happened. Classic.

It's barebones by today's standards, but there's a weird tension in those slow, deliberate punches. You'll either love its janky retro vibe or wonder why anyone bothered—no in-between.
