Game Overview
VS Super Mario Bros (VS) is basically the NES classic cranked up to 11—same familiar jumps and pipes, but everything moves faster and hits harder. The first level already throws more enemies at you, and pits feel just slightly wider than you remember.
I kept mistiming jumps I could do blindfolded in the original. The physics feel identical, but the margin for error shrinks—like playing on a timer you can't see. Some levels rearrange platforms too, so muscle memory betrays you.
If you've beaten the original a hundred times and want that "first time" struggle again, VS Super Mario Bros (VS) delivers that in the most frustratingly fair way possible.
