Game Overview

Wall Pipe came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, published by Soleau Software. It was a simple, straightforward puzzle game from an era when many titles focused on clear mechanics over elaborate presentation. You knew what you were getting, and that was part of its appeal.

You control the placement of pipe segments on a grid, trying to build a continuous path before water begins flowing. The main objective is to connect the start point to the end without leaks, under increasing time pressure. Signature mechanics include selecting pipe pieces from a limited randomized set and dealing with the rising urgency as water starts moving through your layout. The pacing is tense; early levels ease you in, but mistakes compound quickly later on. It feels like a race against your own planning as much as the clock.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
