Game Overview

Wrecking Ball was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that brought together various titles from the platform's early years. It was developed by a smaller studio whose name doesn't carry the same recognition as some of the bigger publishers from that era, but it fit right in with the experimental, often physics-driven games that were starting to appear. You controlled a wrecking ball on a crane, and the goal was simple: demolish buildings by swinging into them.

You maneuver the crane left and right, building momentum to send the ball crashing into structures made of bricks and girders. The physics feel weighty and unpredictable; sometimes a single hit causes a satisfying chain reaction of collapse, while other times you need to carefully pick apart supports. The challenge comes from managing the ball's swing and avoiding obstacles like explosive tanks that can end your run prematurely. It's a game of patience and impact, where the slow buildup leads to moments of pure, destructive release.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
