Play WWF Royal Rumble (Europe) Online
Take control of a WWF wrestler, throw opponents over the top rope, and unleash punches and grapples in this chaotic 1993 wrestling brawl on SNES.
WWF Royal Rumble came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Sculptured Software. It was one of the better wrestling games on the system at the time, offering a more arcade style experience compared to some of the slower, simulation focused titles. You could pick from a roster of WWF stars, each with their own basic moveset.
You control a single wrestler, moving around the ring and using a combination of punches, grapples, and special moves to weaken opponents. The main goal is to be the last person in the ring by throwing everyone else over the top rope. Key mechanics include building up a special meter for powerful finishers and timing button presses to reverse an opponent's attacks. The pacing is fast and chaotic, with the screen often filled with bodies, making it difficult to track your own character. It feels like a frantic, button mashing brawl where luck is just as important as skill.
