You control a Yar, a fly-like creature, moving up and down the left side of a split screen. Your goal is to destroy the Qotile, a large enemy on the right, by first firing at its protective shield until it shatters, then quickly charging your Zorlon Cannon for a single, decisive blast. The core loop involves dodging a constant barrage of missiles and the Qotile's deadly swipes while you whittle down its defenses; there's a tense rhythm to the evasion and the frantic rush to line up your shot before the shield regenerates. The game is brutally difficult, demanding quick reflexes and sharp pattern recognition, and it feels like a pure, unforgiving test of focus and timing.
