Zombi is a 2015 re-release of the original MS-DOS game, developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. It came out during a time when survival horror was still finding its footing, and it stands as a clear precursor to the tension-heavy games that would follow. The setting is a zombie-infested shopping mall, which immediately sets a claustrophobic and desperate tone.

You control a survivor tasked with staying alive and escaping the mall. Gameplay involves moving screen by screen, managing extremely limited resources like ammo and health items. One of the signature mechanics is the permanent death of other survivors you encounter; if they die, they turn into zombies you might have to face later. The pacing is slow and deliberate, forcing careful movement and decision-making. It feels tense and unforgiving, where every encounter could be your last.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
