Play 10Rogue Online

You're just an @ symbol in a maze of ASCII walls, scrounging for gear while the dungeon keeps shifting—die to a trap or goblins, and it's back to square one, but finding a decent sword feels like pure luck.

Game Overview

10Rogue is one of the MS-DOS Classic Games releases, a version of the foundational Rogue that brought the genre to the platform. It was developed by Epyx, and it arrived during a time when many games relied on simple text characters to build their worlds. This was not a game with flashy graphics; it was about systems and consequence.

You control a single character, represented by an @ symbol, and your goal is to descend through a multi-level dungeon to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor and then escape. The game is played screen by screen, with each step revealing more of the procedurally generated maze. You fight monsters like goblins and kobolds, search for food to avoid starvation, and collect whatever weapons and armor you can find. Death is permanent, sending you back to the beginning with a completely new dungeon layout. Every cautious move through the darkness carries a tangible sense of risk and discovery.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
