Game Overview

Alien Logic drops you into this weird, beautiful alien world called Jorune—think swords and sorcery, but with bizarre creatures and alien tech instead of dragons. The DOS graphics are surprisingly lush for their time, all purples and blues, with these floating landmasses that make you feel like you're exploring some lost frontier.

You start off as this outsider trying to earn citizenship, which mostly means running errands for locals while figuring out how to not get eaten by the wildlife. Combat's a mix of turn-based strategy and real-time chaos—I remember my first fight with a shantha (basically a psychic wolf) ended with me frantically clicking away as it chewed through my party.

What stuck with me was how different everything felt—no elves or dwarves here, just alien cultures with their own slang and customs. Half the time I had no idea if an item was food, currency, or a weapon until I tried using it. The learning curve's steep, but stumbling through that world was half the fun.

Still holds up if you can handle the old-school interface.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
