Game Overview

AMs Mini Golf 3D was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled various titles without a clear developer or publisher attribution. It emerged during the early 1990s, a period when 3D graphics in games were still rudimentary but beginning to capture player interest through simple polygonal environments and basic texture mapping.

You control a golf ball from a fixed third-person perspective, aiming to complete each hole in as few strokes as possible. The game unfolds across a series of pre-rendered 3D courses filled with obstacles like moving windmills, narrow bridges, and sloping ramps that test your precision. Putting requires careful adjustment of power and angle, with physics that feel both unpredictable and forgiving enough to encourage retries. Courses are compact but thoughtfully designed, often demanding creative bank shots or cautious rolls to avoid hazards. It feels straightforward and oddly absorbing, especially when a well-planned shot finally drops into the cup.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
