You don't get a manual or lengthy intro; the game just starts, and you're left to interpret the world through its visuals and your own actions.

You control Lester, a physicist thrown into a hostile alien environment after a lab accident. The main objective is simply survival and escape, navigating screen by screen through caverns, prisons, and alien landscapes. Signature mechanics include context-sensitive actions, where the same button performs different moves (running, jumping, drawing a weapon) based on your stance and proximity to objects or enemies, and puzzle-like sequences that require precise timing and observation. The pacing is deliberate, often tense, and the difficulty is unforgiving, with instant death waiting behind many mistakes. Playing it feels like being an actor in a stark, dangerous animated film where every small victory comes only after repeated failure.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
