Game Overview

Apple Panic is one of those MS-DOS games that looks simple at first—until you realize you’re sweating over a keyboard trying not to get mobbed by little pixel monsters. You play as this tiny guy (or two, if you bring a friend) running around a maze, grabbing apples while these weird blob enemies chase you. The twist? You can dig holes to slow them down or trap them completely, which feels oddly satisfying when you pull it off.

It’s got that classic arcade tension where one wrong move means getting surrounded, but the controls are just responsive enough that you’ll blame yourself instead of the game. The graphics are barebones even for DOS, but there’s something weirdly charming about how frantic it gets after level three. If you’ve ever played Lode Runner and thought “what if this was more chaotic,” here’s your answer.

Honestly, it’s the kind of game you boot up for five minutes and suddenly lose an hour to.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
