What surprised me is how much ground you cover—after smacking around enough Romans in the forest, you get dragged off to Britain, then Switzerland, Greece, even Egypt. The scenery changes, but the core loop stays satisfying: jump, run, punch, repeat. Obelix feels heavier, like he’s swinging a sack of rocks (which, honestly, he might be), while Asterix is quicker but weaker. I kept switching between them depending on whether I wanted to brawl or dodge.

It’s not deep, but there’s something weirdly addictive about the rhythm of clobbering legionaries across ancient Europe. The game nails that Saturday morning cartoon vibe.
