Game Overview

Attack is one of those early MS-DOS games that came out in the 0 Classic Games collection, a time when many developers were experimenting with simple but challenging arcade-style concepts. It doesn't have a widely remembered publisher, but it fits right into that era of straightforward, no-frills gameplay that relied on skill and repetition rather than elaborate stories or graphics.

You control a small spaceship viewed from above, navigating through waves of enemy ships that fill the screen with patterned bullet patterns. Your main objective is simply to survive as long as possible, shooting down foes while avoiding their fire. The game uses screen by screen progression, with each level introducing more aggressive enemies and tighter bullet spreads. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty spikes quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and memorization of enemy movement. It feels tense and exacting, where every session is a test of focus and precision.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
