Game Overview

Okay, so Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story is basically the SNES RPG we all wish we'd had as kids. Instead of another side-scrolling beat-em-up, you get a full turn-based adventure where you control the whole Sailor Team—yes, even Chibi Moon, who somehow manages to be both adorable and weirdly useful in battles. The story's completely original too, with time travel shenanigans and new villains that actually feel like they belong in the Sailor Moon universe.

What surprised me was how much strategy goes into fights. Mercury’s debuffs actually matter, Mars’ fire attacks wreck certain enemies, and good luck getting through some bosses without spamming Moon Healing Escalation at the right moment. The pixel art’s gorgeous, especially during transformation sequences, and the soundtrack? Pure 90s magic—I still catch myself humming the battle theme.

It’s not perfect (some grinding’s involved, and good luck figuring out where to go next without a guide), but if you love Sailor Moon or just miss that era of SNES RPGs, this one’s a total time capsule. Just don’t blame me when you start shouting attack names at your screen.
