Game Overview

I remember playing Bodyworks Voyager: Missions in Anatomy back in 1994, when it came out as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from Software Marketing Corporation. It was a time when educational games tried to blend learning with something more engaging than flashcards, and this one stood out for its unusual premise. You didn't just read about the human body; you flew right into it.

You control a microscopic ship navigating through different systems like the circulatory or respiratory system. Your main goal is to complete missions by destroying viruses and bacteria while avoiding hazards like white blood cells. The gameplay involves screen by screen exploration, shooting enemies with your ship's weapons, and collecting power ups or health items. Between action sequences, the game pauses to present anatomy facts related to the area you're in, which breaks up the pace but keeps things informative. It's not overly difficult, but it requires careful maneuvering in tight spaces. Playing it feels like a strange, educational arcade trip through someone's insides.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
