Game Overview

This Amiga gem is like if you took Lemmings, gave everyone guns, and dropped them into a tactical warzone. You’re managing up to six soldiers at once—click to move them, click again to make them shoot, and mash both buttons if you want them to unload a rocket or grenade (which, honestly, is the most satisfying part).

The first few missions ease you in, but soon you’re scrambling to secure bridges (your guys can’t shoot while swimming, obviously) and using trees for cover—until you realize the enemy AI is doing the exact same thing. Tanks show up later to even the odds, though half the time I’d forget to use them because I was too busy micromanaging my squad’s positioning.

It’s got that weird early ‘90s mix of clunky and clever—you’ll curse the controls one minute, then pull off some perfectly timed ambush and feel like a genius. The 72 missions mean you’re never stuck on one approach for too long.
