Game Overview

Man, Castle Ralf takes me back—this MS-DOS relic is like someone mashed up Ghosts 'n Goblins with a caffeine overdose. You play as Ralf, some dude who apparently thought storming a monster castle solo was a good idea. Spoiler: it's not. The first level alone will probably wreck you three times before you figure out the rhythm.

What I love is how it doesn’t bother holding your hand. You’ve got this tiny sword, pixel-perfect jumps, and enemies that spawn in the worst possible spots. The music? Absolute banger—one of those 8-bit tracks that loops in your brain for days. And yeah, you’ll rage-quit, but you’ll also boot it right back up because that next checkpoint feels *just* within reach.

It’s janky in that classic DOS way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about finally nailing a tricky section after a dozen tries. If you miss when games kicked your teeth in with a smile, this one’s got your name on it.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
