The first time I played, I got lost for a solid 20 minutes because the map doesn’t hold your hand. You just sort of wander, backtracking when you hit a dead end, until you stumble into a new area with tougher enemies. The bosses are the highlight though—one fight had me dodging a giant bat while trying not to fall into pits. It’s punishing but satisfying when you finally win.
