Clyde's Adventure came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Moonlite Software. It was a straightforward platformer from that era, the kind you'd load up after school with a floppy disk and a chunky keyboard. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just offered a solid challenge on the hardware we had.

You control Clyde, a little adventurer, through a series of single-screen levels. Your goal is to collect all the gems in each stage to unlock the exit, all while managing a constantly draining stamina bar. Every jump costs energy, so you have to plan your route carefully, grabbing fruit to replenish your meter and avoiding enemies and traps. The pacing is tense; you're always watching that bar, and one wrong move means hearing Clyde's comical yell as you start over. It feels like a race against your own reflexes.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
