So, Clyde’s Revenge—if you played the first one back in the day, this is more of that weird, puzzle-heavy platforming with no enemies, just you, some castles, and a magic wand that lets you move blocks around. It’s all about grabbing these glowing stones while dodging traps and figuring out how to rearrange the level to reach them. The wand mechanic is kinda neat—you can push or pull objects, but sometimes the physics gets janky in that classic MS-DOS way.

There are four episodes, and yeah, back in ’95 you’d only get the first one as shareware before having to pay up. Now it’s all free, which is nice, but don’t expect anything flashy—just solid, slightly clunky retro puzzling. The later episodes ramp up the complexity, throwing in teleporters and timed switches. It’s the kind of game where you’ll stare at the screen for five minutes before realizing the solution was way simpler than you thought.

If you’re into old-school DOS games with a slow, methodical pace, this one’s worth a look. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on some obscure block puzzle for half an hour.
