Play Command & Conquer Online
Build bases, gather resources, train armies, and destroy your opponent's base in Command & Conquer on N64.

Command & Conquer on the Nintendo 64, released in 1999 by Westwood Studios, brought a complex PC real-time strategy game to a console known for platformers and action adventures. It was a surprising, somewhat awkward fit for the system, but it managed to translate the core of a demanding genre onto hardware not built for it. You controlled either the Global Defense Initiative or the Brotherhood of Nod, building bases, harvesting resources, and training armies to overwhelm your opponent.
You direct engineers to capture enemy structures, deploy ore trucks to gather tiberium, and command infantry and tanks across the battlefield. The main objective is to destroy the opposition's base and production facilities while protecting your own. Signature mechanics include managing a sidebar for unit production and structure building, as well as controlling individual units or groups with the N64 controller's limited inputs. The pacing is deliberate, requiring careful resource management and tactical foresight. It feels like conducting a slow, methodical war from a cramped command post.
