Remember that weird, kinda cheesy Congo movie from the '90s? Someone actually made a Super Nintendo game out of it, and shockingly, it's pretty fun. You play as either the scientist with a laser glove (because why not) or the jungle guide dude, hacking through vines, dodging gorillas, and solving ancient puzzles to find the lost city of Zinj.

The first thing you'll notice is how green everything is—like, aggressively green. The jungle looks great for an SNES game, all dense foliage and crumbling ruins. Then a baboon charges at you out of nowhere, and suddenly you're mashing buttons like your life depends on it. There's platforming, some light puzzle stuff, and a lot of shooting, which feels oddly satisfying with that chunky SNES controller in hand.

It's got that classic '90s movie-game jank—some parts are unfairly hard, and the story makes about as much sense as the film—but there's charm in the chaos. If you're into retro games that don't take themselves too seriously, this one's a surprisingly decent time-waster. Just don't expect the gorillas to play fair.
