Play Crazy Sue Online

Oh man, Crazy Sue is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow got lost in time but absolutely shouldn't have. You play as Sue—this hyperactive treasure hunter who moves like she's had six cups of coffee—barreling through underground mazes filled with collapsing floors, rolling boulders, and creatures that seem personally offended by your existence.

The first time I played, I died about twelve times in the first level because I kept underestimating how fast everything moves. But once you get the rhythm—dodging traps, luring enemies into pitfalls, grabbing gems while the screen literally shakes—it clicks in this weirdly satisfying way. The levels get absolutely brutal later on, but in that good "I know I can do better" kind of way.

It's got that classic early '90s vibe where the graphics are simple but full of personality, and the sound effects are just crunchy enough to make every near-death experience memorable. If you've got DOSBox handy and miss games that don't coddle you, give Sue a shot. Just don't blame me when you lose three hours to "one more attempt."

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
