Ever wanted to be the sleazy detective in a neon-lit alley or the smooth-talking crook planning the perfect heist? Crime Adventure on MS-DOS lets you do both—and it doesn’t care if you mess up. The pixel art alone is dripping with attitude, like some forgotten VHS tape of a late-night crime flick.

First thing you’ll notice: nobody’s nice here. You’ll bribe informants with crumpled cash, get double-crossed by guys in trench coats, and maybe even pull off a midnight jewelry store job if you’re slick enough. The puzzles don’t spoon-feed you, either. I spent way too long staring at a cryptic note before realizing I had to use a cigarette burn as a clue. Classic.

It’s janky in that way only ‘90s DOS games can be, but that’s part of the charm. Just save often—trust me on that one.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
