Play Dangerous Dave Online
Dodge fireballs and grab gold cups while bouncing skulls mess up your jumps—Dave moves just right, but those later levels will test your patience. That chiptune soundtrack sticks in your head, too.

Game Overview
Dangerous Dave is one of those classic MS-DOS platformers that feels simple at first—just grab the gold cups to finish each level—but gets surprisingly tricky fast. You’ll jump over pits, dodge fireballs, and deal with these weird bouncing skull enemies that always seem to show up at the worst moment. The controls are tight, though, and there’s something satisfying about the way Dave moves, even if the later levels make you want to throw your keyboard.
It’s wild that this little 1988 game spawned three sequels and got ported to other systems—honestly, the original still holds up if you’re into retro platformers. Just don’t expect any hand-holding; this is pure old-school difficulty. The music’s also weirdly catchy in that chiptune way.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
