Play Defense Online

You frantically reposition turrets as waves of blocky invaders creep closer, watching your ammo drain faster than you expected—those first "easy" rounds were a trap. The old-school simplicity just makes the panic sharper when you realize your defenses are full of holes.

Game Overview

Defense on MS-DOS is one of those games that looks basic at first glance—just a fortress, some blocky enemies, and a handful of turrets—but within minutes, you're completely sucked in. The first wave feels manageable, almost easy, until you realize you've already burned through half your resources and the next swarm is twice as big. Panic sets in.

There's something weirdly satisfying about scrambling to reinforce weak spots while enemy sprites inch closer, their path lit by your own explosions. No tutorials, no mercy—just trial and error until you figure out that spacing your cannons just right matters more than spamming them. And yeah, the graphics are pure '80s, but that only adds to the charm. If you miss games that don't hold your hand, this one's a time capsule worth cracking open.

I still remember the first time I lasted past wave five. Felt like a genius for about ten seconds before everything collapsed.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
