Densetsu no Stafi 2 picks up right where the first game left off—Ogura busted out of his jar (again), and now he’s gone and kidnapped Stafi’s mom. Typical. You’re back as the little star dude, swimming through colorful underwater levels, bouncing off enemies, and collecting those shiny pearls. The controls feel just as floaty and fun as before, but there are some new power-ups this time, like a drill that lets you burrow through certain walls.

What I love is how chill it is—no timers, no pressure, just exploring these weird little aquatic worlds. Some stages have these puzzle-like sections where you’re redirecting water currents or stacking blocks, and the music’s got that same cheerful GBA charm. Honestly, it’s one of those sequels that doesn’t reinvent much, but if you liked the first game, this is more of the same goodness.
